1. What is an online adult social care account?
An online adult social care account allows people who receive support from adult social care to view their basic details, and exchange forms with social workers online.
2. Who can request access to an online adult social care account?
People who receive support from adult social care can request access to their account. You may also be able to request access on behalf of someone who draws on support. For security reasons, we will always verify your details before activating your account.
3. How do I request access to an online adult social care account?
In order to request access to your social care account you must first Register. Go to My social care account menu option and then click Register for new account button.
Once registered go to request access to your social care account page to complete an online form with your details and then submit it. We will contact you to verify your account. Upon account activation you will receive an email notification. When your account has been verified and activated, you will be able to view your basic details and any documents and forms we have sent to you.
4. What is a verified online adult social care account?
If you have an online adult social care account, and are receiving services from us, you can request access to a verified account by completing "Request access to an adult social care account" form.
Having a verified account means you can:
- View and manage parts of your social care record
- View documents and forms that have been sent to your online adult social care account
5. I've received notification that my social worker sent me a form. What should I do?
When your social worker sends you a form to complete, you will receive an email notification. Click on the link and log into your account. Click on the form link under Your forms tab, under My documents. Open the form, complete the details, and submit. Your social worker will receive a notification once you have submitted the form.
6. I've received a notification that my social worker sent me a copy of my assessment. Where can I view it?
When your social worker sends you a form to complete, you will receive an email notification. Click on the link and log into your account. A PDF copy of your documents are available to view under social care assessments. Click on the link to view the document.
